MEET SONYA
Leadership presence coach. Coffee Drinker. Sneaker Wearer.
Presence isn't something you either have or you don't.
It's built. From the inside out.
For 25 years, I was the one people found after the meeting. Not for reassurance. They wanted my read: what actually happened in that room, and what to do about it. Naming the thing someone has been feeling and couldn't put words to is what I have always done.
My career ran through Diverger, BT Financial Group and Mercer, as a GM across Technology, Operations and Transformation. I led restructures and held teams through major organisational change. I still operate inside corporate leadership today, which means I coach from the rooms leaders are in right now, not from memory.
I work with women in leadership who are respected and trusted to deliver and ready to be positioned as the leaders they already are. What most of them are paying, without naming it, is a tax: leadership costs energy, and editing yourself costs extra. Monitoring yourself in every meeting, softening a recommendation before it is sent, handing each room a slightly toned-down version of yourself, and going home with less than you started with.
Leadership isn't experienced in parts, so I don't work it in parts. You can go to a leadership coach for influence, a stylist for wardrobe, a brand strategist for positioning. I do the one thing that sits underneath all three.
Clients tell me, "You're the only one who really does this. We can have conversations about leadership, managing teams, influence, and navigating a room, and then switch to style. Those conversations are rich."
I'm an ICF-accredited leadership coach, a certified personal brand strategist, a Human Design specialist and a trained style strategist.
I bring strategy, 25 years of lived corporate experience, and Human Design insight to name what clients often can't name themselves. Your identity, your positioning and your style were never separate, so I don't develop them separately.
The work moves through three stages: discover, define, design. Who you are and how you lead line up, and stay lined up as the rooms change. It's the bridge between your expertise and your presence.
If that's the work you've been looking for, you're in the right place.
